News: St-Roch XP Announces 2026 Lineup

BLEUFEU is a Quebec City-based event organizer and show promoter, dedicated to providing festive and inspiring experiences for all music fans. The organization plays a key role in Quebec City’s cultural economy, bringing together over 1,750,000 fans from near and afar every year, generating over 200,0000 ticket sales. And if you’ve been frequenting this site over the past few years, BLEUFEU is behind a number of the province’s most iconic and important annual events, including Festival d’été de Québec (FEQ), Festival Fono and St-Roch XP while also offering rich year-round programming at its two performance venues, the Impérial Bell and the Grizzly Fuzz.

Rooted in Quebec City’s Saint-Roch neighborhood, BLEUFEU actively contributes to its economy vitality by hiring nearly 100 employees, while reinforcing its role at a vital cultural hub both in the city and across the province.

Today, BLEUFEU announced that the ninth edition of St-Roch XP, presented by SiriusXM will take place in Quebec City’s Lower Town between August 27, 2026-August 29, 2026. The 2026 edition will feature nearly 60 artists for attendees to discover for free across roughly 16 venues across town, including the Ubisoft Series at the Impérial Bell with Le Gong Show and Cœur de pirate, a gourmet trail on Saint Joseph Street, cooking workshops at the Gabrielle Roy Library, electro nights at Grizzy Fuzz, Mini-XP youth programming — and more!

“For its 9th edition, St-Roch XP continues to distinguish itself with a vibrant format that multiplies opportunities to discover, gather, and experience the city in a new way. It is first and foremost a musical event that showcases local and international talent, and it is all the more precious for us to grow it in the neighbourhood where BLEUFEU is based.”

The event not only creates a buzz, it brings people to the city’s Lower Town and generates real benefits for those who work there year-round. “We deeply believe in this event and, year after year, we choose to give it the resources to continue its development so that it benefits both the public and the community that hosts it,” emphasizes Nicolas Racine, President and CEO of BLEUFEU.

St-Roch XP’s ninth edition will feature a vibrant and eclectic lineup. 60 emerging artists from Quebec, the rest of Anglophone Canada, France, Belgium and the US will take over several venues and business on Saint Joseph Street, playing for free in a variety of unusual and different locales with pop-up stages set up at Bar Le Vox, Bati Bassac, Ampli de Québec, Marché Tradition Courtemanche Baril, La Korrigane, the Gabrielle Roy Library lobby, Place Jacques Cartier, 405 Saint Joseph Street East, Café Pékoe, Parvis Desjardins (Saint Roch Church Square), BLEUFEU, La Place Boutique Gourmande, the former Benjo location and 595 Saint Joseph Street East. Motel Acadie, a new performance venue at 561 Saint Joseph Street East will be the host of SirusXM Showcases presented by the Société Nationale de l’Acadie that will feature a selection of Acadian artists. It’ll be a unique opportunity to discover the richness of the Canadian scene — in a space entirely dedicated to it. And the public will also have the opportunity to meet The Kilted Chef, recognized as one of Atlantic Canada’s leading culinary ambassadors, who will be offering local delicacies.

Along with the live performances, the event fosters connections with industry professionals, who can contribute to the next stages of the lineup’s careers. Festival organizers believe that the SiriusXM Showcases are central to this approach, as they bring together both artists and industry professionals in an environment conducive to e discovery, exchange and new collaborations.
“St-Roch XP was born from a desire to spark discovery and cultivate a genuine curiosity for emerging talent. Saturday, August, 29 2026: Cœur de pirate will be playing a set of material from her latest album En cavale. Thi set will be the last chance to catch the acclaimed French Canadian artist in Quebec City on this leg of the tour.

XP Extras: Electro Nights at Grizzly Fuzz

August 27, 2026 – August 29, 2026 will see XP Extras present three nights of electronic music starting at 9:30pm each night. A collection of DJs and producers are scheduled to hit the decks each night, including Fistule, Tartine, Alex Murphy, French Vanilia, Millimetrik, Marco G, Rizomagic, Poirier, M.I.M, and Shortlist.

Mini XP

Mini-XP will feaature programming specifically for youngsters and will take place at Gabrielle Roy Library’s performance hall on Saturday August 29. 2026. Starting at 10:00am, Mr. Garzon will perform a vibrant show where acrobatics, juggling, unicycling and clowning defy the laws of physics. At 1:00pm, Alix Atomic will present La science qui décoiffe (Science That Blows Your Mind), a participatory, funny, and wildly entertaining show that explores gravity, centrifugal force, and many other phenomena through spectacular experiments and a healthy dose of comedic genius. Foodies will have themselves a time, as the local culinary scene takes centerstage as part of the event’s experience. Merchants on Saint Joseph Street will line the sidewalks with a host of tasty bites, offering the public a trip through the area’s diverse culinary offerings. (French Canadians don’t fuck around with food. So I guarantee that this will dope as fuck.)

Of course, this means that Saint Joseph Street between Saint Anselme Street to Dupont Street will be pedestrian only starting at 3:00pm on Thursday, August 27, 2026 and Friday, August 28, 2026 and from 11:00am on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Gabrielle Roy Library will host three culinary workshops. Mila’s Snack back will kick things off at 3:00pm on August 27, 2026, followed on August 28, 2026 by Montréal-based chef Olivier Graton, culinary content creator and competitor on season 12 of Les Chefs. The program will be rounded out at 11:00am on August 29, 2026 by Samuel Boisvert, winner of MasterChef Québec Season 3. These workshops will offer attendees a unique opportunity to discover their expertise, their inspirations and some of their culinary secrets. Last but not least, festival organizers will present awards to two artists performing at the festival’s SiriusXM Showcases. The Audience Choice Award will be determined by an online vote from festival attendees. The Emerging Talent Award will be determined by industry professionals invited to the St-Roch XP pro section. Each award will include at $1,000CAD grant with the Emerging Talent Award will also receive a spot on one of the stages of the next edition of Festival d’été de Québec.
