Simple Minds‘ founder and frontman Jim Kerr celebrates his 66th birthday today. As a child of a 80s, I remember “Don’t You Forget About Me,” their biggest hit here in the States. But as I dug deeper into their extensive catalog, I quickly recognized that they should have been much bigger here in the States. Holy shit, Kerr was behind a lot of great fucking songs.
