Now, if you’re a child of the 80s like me, you might remember that Dire Straits‘ Brothers in Arms featured one of the most technologically advanced, forward-thinking and oft-played video of its time — “Money for Nothing.”
But besides that song, it’s arguably one of the better albums of its day. “So Far Away” from me is a great, under-appreciated song in my book.
Dire Straits frontman and creative mastermind Mark Knopfler celebrates his 76th birthday today. Let’s wish Mark a very happy birthday. May there be many, many, many more!
