Throwback: Happy 77th Birthday, Stevie Nicks!

We’ve somehow made it to May y’all. 5 months in to a brutal slog of a calendar year. I’m exhausted and fed up. And I’m sure most of y’all out there feel the same. The terrible thing is that my sense is that things are going to get a lot worse. We’re in hell.

But there’s music, art, small pleasures, and every day joys. We’ll cling to that as much as possible.

Today is a rather auspicious day in music history because two very important figures in my music fandom were born today: The incomparable Stevie Nicks, an absolute queen, celebrates her 77th birthday today.

I’ve been obsessed with Stevie since I was small boy. It was just always that way. But as I always say around here: we have to give our legends their flowers while they’re still with us. So happy birthday, Ms. Nicks! May there be many, many, many more!
