Throwback: Happy 81st Birthday, John Densmore!

2025 is almost over. Let’s work towards making 2026 a much calmer and much better year for all of us.

But in the meantime, December is a busy month for music birthdays, y’all.

The Doors‘ John Densmore celebrates his 81st birthday today. If you know, your rock — and music history — you’d know that The Doors were among the most influential and controversial acts of their day. 

The L.A. Woman album may arguably be one of the best rock albums ever recorded — and his role on that album, in my book, holds it all together. Happy birthday, sir! May there be many, many more!
