• Pete Rock, one of the most important, greatest and beloved producers and DJs in hip-hop history celebrated his 55th birthday on June 21

The legendary Kris Kristofferson was born on this day 90 years ago. 

As a songwriter, he’s responsible for some of the most beloved and oft-covered songs of the past 60 years or so. He was also a member of The Highwaymen, the outlaw country supergroup that included Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash.

Happy birthday, Kris. Happy birthday, wherever you are!
