We’ve managed to make it to June. I don’t know about you, but this year has been a brutal, fucked up slog. But it’s Pride Month — and there’s still art, music and small joys.
June is a another busy month for music birthdays:
Alanis Morisette celebrated her 51st birthday today on June 1.
If you came of age in the 90s or are a child of the 90s, knowing that may make you start to feel old, because we’re all getting old. How did that happen? How?
Jagged Little Pill was a revelation for many young women — and it’s really a fucking fantastic album with a ton of smash hits that we all know. And for a good run of the late 90s and early 2000s, Morissete was among the most commercially and critically successful female artists of that period.
