I remember the first time I heard Soundgarden: My mind was blown by Chris Cornell‘s voice and that sound. They just kicked everyone’s ass — and they did so in a meaner, harder, nastier fashion.
I somehow missed it but Chris Cornell was born 59 years ago yesterday. I loved Cornell’s work with Soundgarden and I wanted to celebrate both the man and his work, albeit belatedly.
Happy birthday, Chris! Happy birthday, wherever you are!
