Throwback: Black History Month: TLC

Today is the 15th day of Black History Month. As we go through the month, I’m going to talk about a collection of Black artists. It’ll be fairly comprehensive and eclectic list — although it won’t be a complete list.

So far I’ve talked about:

If we’re continuing to talk about Black Excellence and important Black musical acts, then we must talk about TLC. TLC is arguably one of the most commercially and critically successful girl R&B groups ever — and are considered one of the most influential, too. Without TLC and SWV, you probably wouldn’t Destiny’s Child, let alone Beyoncé.

And man, TLC just had some great songs.
