As a child of the 80s, who obsessively watched MTV, I loved Madonna. Today is Madonna’s 63rd birthday and I wanted to celebrate. We always need to give our legends their flowers and accolades while they’re still with us — and without Madonna’s extraordinarily career, 3/4s of the women pop artists today would be doing something else with their lives. So to that end, happy birthday Madonna! May there be many many more!
