- Tone Lōc celebrated his 59th birthday on March 3
- The legendary soul artist Bobby Womack was born on this day 81 years ago
- Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted celebrated his 62nd birthday on March 4

I’ve been a Pink Floyd fan since — well, practically forever. And at points, I feel like my life is a collection of Pink Floyd lyrics that I endlessly quote to people. So, thank you David for creating and being part of music that’s been a major part of my life’s soundtrack. Happy birthday! May there be many, many more!
