News/Announcements: Mad Cool Festival Announces 2025 First Wave Lineup

Yesterday, Mad Cool Festival and its organizers announced the first wave of confirmed artists for its 2025 edition. Taking place between July 10, 2025 – July 12, 2025 in Villaverde Madrid‘s Iberdrola Music, a 185,000 square meter space that combines leisure, culture and innovation that aims to become a central cultural and social hub for southern Madrid, the first wave lineup features huge names across a variety of genres and styles.

The first wave lineup features:

Olivia Rodrigo, who with just two albums has captivated a global audience through a blend of introspective lyrics and 90s alt rock-inspired sounds.

The legendary Iggy Pop, who will play a set full of beloved classics from throughout the course of his influential five-plus decade career.

Alanis Morrisette, who will return to Madrid to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Jagged Little Pill. Yes, 30th anniversary. And yes, we’re getting old. Holy shit, we’re getting old.

Weezer will be playing in Madrid for the first time in 20 years.

Kings of Leon will play both classic anthems and tracks from their latest album.

Thirty Seconds to Mars will play songs from their latest album, It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day.
