News: Osheaga Festival Announces 2026 Lineup

Festival organizers recently announced that the 19th edition of the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, presented by Bell in collaboration with Coors Light will take place July 31, 2026 – August 2, 2026. Yet again, the festival will transform Montréal‘s Parc Jean-Drapeau into the epicenter of live music, offering festivalgoers three unforgettable days of world-class performances from genre-defying artists and the electric atmosphere that has made the festival one of the continent’s most celebrated summer festivals.

Besides the music, what draws people back to Osheaga each summer is the atmosphere. From high-quality food and curated on-site experiences to spontaneous connections and unforgettable performances, the festival delivers moments that just can’t be replicated anywhere else, in front of some remarkably gorgeous scenery: Parc Jean-Drapeau’s iconic island site, surrounded by the St. Lawrence River and framed by Montréal’s skyline and Mont Royal. And as a result, the festival offers a rare and unique balance of urban energy and natural beauty that turns every set, every sunset and every late-night singalong into something unforgettable.

Festival organizers revealed the 2026 lineup in one massive reveal. The booking team has curated a dynamic program of 87 artists that bridge genres and generations, including global superstars, rising talent and breakout artists to play across multiple stages. Much like previous editions, the 19th edition invites music lovers an opportunity to discover their next obsession.

The festival’s first day, Friday, July 31, 2026 will be headlined by Twenty One Pilots, who return to Osheaga for the first time since 2015. The Grammy Award-winning duo will play global hits like “Stressed Out,” “Ride,” “Heathens” and more.

The festival’s second day, Saturday, August 1, 2026 will be headlined by Calgary-born pop artist Tate McRae, whose Osheaga Festival set is her festival debut and her only Canadian festival apappeance of 2026, with no other Canadian dates announced as of this date. McRae’s Osheaga Festival headlined set comes on the heels of a sold-out Bell Centre show and will feature chart-topping tunes “greedy,” “you broke me first,” “exes,” “she’s all i wanna be,” “revolving door,” “just keep watching,” and “sports car.”

The festival’s third and final day, Sunday, August 2, 2026 will be headlined by alt-pop superstar Lorde, who will be making her third Oshega appearance. Her 2026 appearance follows last year’s dynamic set at Bell Center and is part of busy series of appearances across the major global festival circuit, including The Governor’s Ball and Mad Cool. Attendees should expect to hear anthems like “Royals,” “Team,” “Ribs,” “Green Light,” “Liability,” “Supercut,” “Tennis Court,” and “Homemade Dynamite.

The 2026 edition’s rock lineup will be rounded out by 2026 Grammy Award-winning act Turnstile; The Neighbourhood, who have an 11x Platinum certified hit “Sweater Weather;” breakout band Geese; and renowned Scottish post punk outfit Franz Ferdinand.

Hip-hop will be represented with melodic trap artist Gunna. Major Lazer, who will be hitting the road for the first time since 2019 will rock the Oshega crowd. His Osheaga set comes on the heels of his high-profile performance at the Closing Ceremony of this year’s Winter Olympics in Verona, Italy. And Australian duo Empire of the Sun will be making their Osheaga and Montréal debut.

Since pop is a major element of this year’s edition, a handful of pop artists round out the lineup: Zara Larsson will be making her third Osheaga appearance. Her 2026 set comes off her first Grammy Award nomination for 2025’s “Midnight Sun.” Globally renowned act The xx will making their highly-anticipated and long-awaited return to Montréal.

Attendees will also have a chance to catch breakout alt pop outfit SOMBR, as well as Kehlani, Max McNown (who will also be playing LASSO Montréal), SUBTRONICS, YOASOBI, Finn Wolfhard, JID, Wet Leg, and more.

Festival organizers have long been committed to showcasing and supporting Canadian talent since the festival’s inception — and it remains a fundamental pillar of the event. The 19th edition features 26 Canadian artists, including 14 from La Belle Province. From breakthrough acts featured at the SiriusXM Backyard Sessions to celebrated Canadian acts performing on their main stages, the festival frequently showcases the best music from the Great North. This year’s lineup will feature Wolf Parade, who have seen a recent viral resurgence of “I’ll Believe in Anything,” as well as Tia Wood, Billie du Page, Bob Moses, JOVM mainstays Virginie B and Super Plage, Vandelux, Moses Belanger, Mother Mother, and more. All of these acts showcase reflect the creative, diversity and vibrancy of both the local scene and the national scene.

Osheaga’s 19th edition strikes a balance between the mainstream and the underground, while offering something unforgettable for every music fan. And if you’ve never been to Montréal, I highly recommended that you should make a trip.
