Today is the 14th day of Black History Month. As we go through the month, I’m going to talk about a collection of Black artists. It’ll be fairly comprehensive and eclectic list — although it won’t be a complete list.

I had to pay tribute to Grace Jones, an incomparable and uncompromising force of nature. And she’s responsible for at least two of my favorite songs of the 80s.
