December is here. 2024 has flown by and is almost over.

- Jaco Pastorius, one of the greatest bassists ever was born 73 years ago on December 1
- Def Leppard bassist Rick Savage celebrated his 64th birthday on December 2
- Montell Jordan celebrates his 56th birthday today
Ozzy Osbourne, the “Prince of Darkness” and “Godfather of Metal,” celebrates his 76th birthday today.
Ozzy’s work with Black Sabbath and his solo work has influenced so many artists — and will influence generations of metalheads and music fans forever.
This past year, I’ve been obsessed with Ozzy’s 1991 smash-hit “Mama, I’m Coming Home.” The song just seemed to accurately capture how I felt traveling all over the place and heading back home .
