I had a friend send me a DM on Instagram when I learned that Ozzy Osbourne, the “Prince of Darkness” and “Godfather of Metal,” died today, just a few weeks after Black Sabbath and his farewell show.
Ozzy’s work with Black Sabbath and his solo work has influenced so many artists — and will influence generations of metalheads and music fans forever.
Long live Ozzy Osbourne! Long live Black Sabbath!
